E1 has meant that not only can Billy split his documents into easily downloadable and relevant packages to his subcontractors – he can see who has which document, who has read them and who has or has not opened the latest addenda to the project.

The process is pretty straightforward. To start Billy uploads his document set in EstimateOne – making sure all the documents are in the right folders. Putting the time into this part saves him hours down the line.
Once he’s assigned all his documents into the right trade packages, it’s a matter of a few clicks to invite the relevant subcontractors via EstimateOne – the system even lets you know how far away they are from the job site so he can ensure he’s only inviting people who can realistically work on the site.
After he’s sent all his documents, he can easily monitor who has and hasn’t accessed their documentation. And when it’s time for addenda, EstimateOne will automatically update the document sets and alert the subcontractors who are currently accessing outdated docs.
